Juliana Garofalo brings her expertise and compassionate approach to her role as a Physician Assistant, specializing in neurosurgery. More About Juliana Garofalo:

Juliana Garofalo, a compassionate and dedicated Physician Assistant, joined the Elite Brain & Spine team in August 2024 following her surgical training through the Norwalk Hospital–Yale PA Surgical Residency Program. Originally from Norwalk, Connecticut, Juliana earned her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies (MSPA) from the University of Bridgeport Physician Assistant Institute, where she excelled academically and participated on the winning team in the 2023 PA Challenge Bowl.

Her commitment to advancing her surgical expertise led her to be one of only 18 PA students nationwide selected for the prestigious Advanced Surgical PA Training Program at the University of Alabama at Birmingham in December 2023. She also took part in a medical service trip to Peru in 2024, expanding her understanding of global healthcare disparities and strengthening her patient-centered approach.

Now a board-certified Physician Assistant specializing in neurosurgery, Juliana brings skill, empathy, and precision to every aspect of patient care. Outside of medicine, she enjoys birdwatching, paddleboarding, and fishing, and is an active member of HawkWatch International and the Connecticut Audubon Society.
