Amanda Greening is a dedicated Physician Assistant specializing in neurosurgery with a strong foundation in neurological medicine, perioperative care, and patient-centered treatment. She earned her Master of Physician Assistant Studies from Marquette University after completing her Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience at Michigan State University, where she graduated with academic distinction and actively participated in medical and honors organizations.
Amanda’s passion for neurosurgery is deeply personal, inspired by the compassionate care she once received herself. She is committed to providing patients with the same level of empathy, guidance, and expertise throughout their healthcare journey. Her approach focuses on open communication, trust, and collaboration to help patients feel informed and empowered during treatment and recovery.
Throughout her clinical training, Amanda gained extensive hands-on experience in neurosurgery and neurology, assisting in procedures including anterior cervical discectomy and fusion, total disk arthroplasty, laminectomy, kyphoplasty, sacroiliac joint fusion, and ventriculo-peritoneal shunt placement. She also completed clerkships in emergency medicine, surgery, pediatrics, behavioral medicine, family medicine, internal medicine, and obstetrics/gynecology, giving her a comprehensive understanding of patient care across diverse medical settings.
Outside of medicine, Amanda enjoys cooking, hiking, running, horseback riding, traveling, and spending time with family and friends. Her dedication to compassionate care and continuous learning makes her a valued member of the Elite Brain & Spine team.
